Here are some pictures from Vietnam.  We leave tomorrow.  I can't wait to tell you about the trip.

See ya later,
Julia

This is a video of old fashioned music from Ben Tre, Vietnam.

They make bricks from mud in Ben Tre where I am from.  This is the oven where they bake the bricks.  40,000 bricks fit in this oven and they bake for a month.
This is a house on a river in Ben Tre

These are some ladies making coconut candy.  Ben Tre is famous for coconuts and coconut candy.

We're on a boat on the river.  There are a lot of little rivers in Ben Tre.
This is me with a girl from Ben Tre in her school uniform.  Kids in Vietnam wear uniforms to school
This is me drinking out of a coconut.  It was ok, but not great.

We are going through a water cave in row boats in Ha Long Bay in the north part of Vietnam.
This is a school for the kids who live in the fishing village.  The school and the village are all on the water in the middle of the bay.
These are the people we traveled with and one of our tour guides, Jack.

This is my family near a Buddhist temple in Hanoi, Vietnam
This is my family by a waterfall in a Hmong mountain village called Cat Cat in northern Vietnam.

Hello PM Class of Brass,

Greetings from Julia in Vietnam.  Here is what she has to say about her trip so far.

It's hot.  There are a lot of coconut trees.  There are a lot of motor scooters on the streets.  Sometimes there are even four people riding on one scooter at the same time.  And when people are done riding on their scooter, they park them on the sidewalk.  We went to the beach (the ocean) and there were a lot of shells!
